Trussardi was established in 1911 by Dante Trussardi as a luxury leather gloves manufacturer in Bergamo, Italy. In the 1970s, under Nicola Trussardi’s leadership, the company expanded into a full luxury lifestyle brand encompassing fashion, accessories and fragrances.

The house launched its first fragrance, Trussardi, in 1983. The brand’s perfume division has since created numerous successful fragrances in collaboration with various perfumers and fragrance houses.

Among its most iconic fragrances is Donna Trussardi (1994), a chypre-floral composition that became a signature scent for the brand. My Name (2013) is another significant release that helped modernise the brand’s fragrance portfolio, featuring prominent plum and violet notes.

Trussardi Uomo (1983) was the house’s first men’s fragrance and remains a classic masculine scent. The more recent Riflesso (2017) has become one of their best-selling men’s fragrances, known for its oriental-woody composition with notes of bergamot, pink pepper and vetiver.
